Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy having a a beer from time to time, leave your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checks out of the casino. Only take only the cash you anticipate to spend on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to burn and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a win after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that account considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and gamble. The pair simply do not go well together.
Leaving your cash at home is a little drastic, but defensive measures for drastic actions is essential. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to toss aside your $$$$ without a concern, then consume all the gratis booze you can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your bombed head loses all the cash!
Allow me to carry this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head online to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my domicile, however since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards near by, I can not drink and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both create a decimating, and costly, drink.
